Amazon Big Spring Sale Survival Gear Deals
The 2025 Amazon Big Spring Sale is here, running March 25-31. We’ll continue to share the specifics on survival gear deals and prepping supplies during the entire sale period.
Amazon’s first big sale of the year, the Big Spring Sale, offers some big deals on survival gear and prepping supplies. At this point, Amazon typically has three large sales each year and participates in Black Friday. It’s been a while since Black Friday, and this is the biggest sale they’ve run since Christmas.
With spring around the corner and manufacturers with plenty of winter supplies to close out, there is a good mix of outdoor survival, garden, energy, and food storage deals prime for the picking.
I’ve highlighted the new deals for today below, so you can easily see the changes if you are checking back each day. Some of the gear has been selling out as well, so we’re removing those from the list daily.

What is the Amazon Big Spring Sale?
Unlike Amazon’s Prime Day or Prime Big Deal Days, this sale isn’t just for Prime members. You don’t have to be a member to take advantage of the discounts. The sale spanned five days last year but has been expanded to seven days for 2025, running March 25 – 31.
Amazon offers a ton of sales on survival-related equipment and prepping supplies during this period. That makes it one of only a few sales per year available to everyone and anyone.
The specifics of the deals can change over the course of the seven days, but we’ll jump on them as quickly as possible so you won’t miss out. Sometimes gear goes out of stock, gets cleared out, or new items go on sale in the later days to keep the promotion fresh.
Outdoor Survival Gear
We regularly find outdoor survival gear in our daily deals, but spring is the time to find a whole bunch on sale, with survival gear overlapping with hiking, camping, and backpacking. Some significant savings are here for this sale, and here are a few of my favorites:
- Hokinety Paracord 100′ Hank – $4 (was $8) – Judging from our paracord testing, we may doubt the strength claim, but it’s still some dirt-cheap string.

Power Banks, Solar, and Power Stations
Electronics are always a huge focus for big Amazon sales, but that doesn’t just mean TVs and game consoles. Power storage and generating equipment are also big. They had a few security systems for sale, but no markdowns compared to what they are doing with these power solutions.
Individual power banks (usually used for phones in emergencies) are giving some screaming deals:
- Anker 10,000 mAh Power Bank – $13 (was $26)
- Running Snail Emergency Weather Radio w/ 2,000 mAh Charger – $15 (was $19) – from our best emergency weather radio review, the tiny solar panel and crank charger can help your phone during emergencies.
- INIU 10,000 mAh Portable Charger – $16 (was $29) – from our best phone power bank review
Batteries are discounted enough to stockpile:
- Duracell AA 20-Pack – $8 (was $19)
- Energizer 2032 Lithium Button 10-Pack – $10 (was $25)
- Duracell AAA 20-Pack – $11 (was $17)
- Amazon Basics AAA 24-Pack + AA 24-Pack – $13 (was $17)
- Energizer Max AAA 24-Pack + AA 24-Pack – $20 (was $39)
- Energizer Ultimate Lithium AA 24-Pack – $34 (was $67)
Solar panels continue to get cheaper every year:

- Renogy 100W Solar Panel – $76 (was $115)
- AllPowers Folding 100W Solar Panel – $79 (was $138)
- Renogy 200W Solar Panel – $146 (was 290)
- EcoFlow 100W Portable Solar Panel – $89 (was $129)
Jackery, EcoFlow, and Anker are tangling over the best power station prices:
- Jackery Explorer 100 Plus 99Wh Power Station – $89 (was $149)
- EcoFlow River 3 245Wh Power Station – $143 (was $259) – stacked coupon NCMVMJA982PW on top of spring deal.

- Anker Solix C1000 1056Wh Power Station – $449 (was $999)

- Jackery Explorer 2000 v2 2042Wh Power Station – $949 (was $1,499)
If you don’t have a solar power solution yet, it’s a better time than ever to try it out, cheaper than ever.
Portable generators are still the proven option and have pretty good price relief for this sale:
- Champion 2,500W Inverter Generator – $434 (was $589)
- DuroMax 13,000W Dual Fuel Generator – $1,099 (was $1,499)
Garden Supplies
As a spring sale, we wouldn’t expect anything less than great deals on garden supplies to make things green again. I picked up a few of these same metal garden beds (the 3×6) last year and they held up pretty good- just some rust on a few of the screws. They helped me turn this space next to my deck into a usable area with plenty of sun now that it’s elevated.

- 800+ Ft Natural Jute Twine – $5 (was $6)
- Mesh Foraging Bag – $9 (was $11)
- 10,000 Seed Vegetable/Herb Variety Pack – $19 (was $30)
- Augason Farms 1lb Vegetable Seeds #10 Can – $21 (was $39)
- AeroGarden Harvest Elite Indoor Hydroponic System – $60 (was $120)
- Best Choice 6x3x2 Raised Metal Garden Bed – $89 (was $139)
- Best Choice 8x4x2 Raised Metal Garden Bed – $119 (was $179)
If you are just getting started with your garden now, you might be behind a smidge, but these could help you catch up with the season or even grow plants on your own terms (with the hydroponics system).
Food Storage Deals
When you are stashing food away for emergencies, your budget can take a hit. Luckily, some of the appliances that help with food preservation and food itself are a part of this sale.
Some of our favorites include:

- Mountain House Chili Mac Pouch – $8 (was $12)
- Chuck Norris Roundhouse Provisions Ration Bars – $17 (was $25)
- Mountain House Essential Bucket – $93 (was $110)
- Mountain House Classic Bucket – $111 (was $135)
- Augason Farms 30-Day Premium Food Supply – $119 (was $199) – from our best emergency food supplier review

Don’t forget the equipment to preserve food on your own:

- Cosori Food Dehydrator – $144 (was $159) – from our best dehydrator review.
And racks to store food off the floor:
- Amazon Basics Steel Wire Rack – $45 (was $53)
These are some of the best deals around and may end up back-ordered or out of stock as the sale goes on.
CBRN Equipment and PPE
CBRN gear can pull some weight as part of your preparedness plan if you live in an urban environment, near a nuclear facility, or want to prepare for low-probability/high-impact widespread global threats.

Best Survival Big Spring Sale Deals
The categories that the deals are focused on can vary, but the ones that are most applicable to survival and prepping fall into only a few.
Some of the key categories include:
- Sports and Outdoors (for outdoor survival and bushcraft)
- Home & Kitchen (Small appliances for food and pantry prepping)
- Electronics (security, batteries, and power packs)
- Tools and Home Improvement
If you browse the categories, you may find even more deals than we’ve listed to fill out your survival kits and prepper pantry.
Other Website Spring Sales
Amazon didn’t invent the spring sale, although they did consolidate it to a specific period at the end of March. Most other retailers have followed suit, and are running their own spring sales through the same period. You’ll want to check out the same categories we mentioned above for prepping supplies and survival gear, but here are the biggest retailer sales (that aren’t named Amazon):
- Walmart Super Savings Week – Not to be outdone, their online-only sale ‘week’ runs 3/24 – 4/1.
- eBay Spend More Save More – A coupon event that scales savings based on how much you spend. Use the code SHOPANDSAVE to get $5-$45 off. The event runs through 3/31.
- EcoFlow Spring Sale – Up to 59% off at EcoFlow’s direct site, through March 31st.

The 3M Aura N95 is the best!! Unless you have a neck beard.
Anyway, been on the lookout for months since using my last one. Thanks!!
Some thoughts. Paracord (known in the military as 550 cord) is made by a number of companies. It is important to do your research. You need Type III MIL-C 5040H. The latest version is Type IV.
I have several Mora knives (the Light My Fire). They are incredible knives and well worth the cost. I also have several Buck knives (Buck only makes two models in the USA), a K-Bar and a Kershaw (made in Japan in the mid 50’s). If you have a limited budget, get a Mora and a K-Bar with the 7 in blade.
