Memorial Day Prepper Sales
Typically, there haven’t been enough sales or compelling deals to put together a Memorial Day sale roundup for survival gear and prepping supplies. Times change, though, and now we have a whole slew of deals to explore that’ll help kickstart your summer preparedness projects.
Memorial Day is on May 25th this year, but sales have already started, and a few run through the end of the week. Like most roundups, we’ll keep updating as sales come and go throughout the period, so check back periodically to catch new deals.

Our latest update on Memorial Day Prepper Sales updates this list for the 2026 sales running before and through May 25th.
Memorial Day Preface
I don’t have an issue with the commercialization of holidays- Christmas, Easter, Presidents Day, July 4, Labor Day- businesses will always use sale periods to drive traffic, and it’s a trend that’s growing and not shrinking.
But Memorial Day is a bit different from my perspective. I’ve seen both sides of the holiday: I was an engineer for a mattress company (mattresses are heavily promoted for Memorial Day sales). I was also a part of the Honor Guard in the USAF and presented at many funerals and memorial events. I’ve struggled to see how selling mattresses at 70% off is honoring the men and women who laid their lives down for our country.
The stark truth is that it doesn’t honor them. We can’t repay them. They died in service to our country, and all we have to give is remembrance. Sure, sales can exist on holidays, but please don’t let marketing blind you to the obligation we owe the young soldiers who have passed on.
We all need to remember them and try to fathom the sacrifice they made- whether it was winning world wars or keeping the conflicts abroad in Korea, Vietnam, Iraq, Afghanistan, and more.

House fires and home intrusions are always the first few specific scenarios to prepare for, according to our general risk analysis tool: the Threat List. Those risks increase even more when they are the domino effects of other disasters, emergencies, and SHTF situations.
Home security cameras are seeing low prices and are perfect for monitoring your home while you’re on summer vacation.

- Blink Outdoor 4 – $44 (was $80) – from our best security camera review.

Firearms, Gun Gear, & Ammo
Out of all the manufacturers, vendors, and stores we track, we got the most emails about Memorial Day sales related to firearms. I haven’t noticed the shooting ranges being more active this time of year, so I think they are just jumping on the holiday to drive sales.
The best deals are on the less-expensive brands and models:
- Keltec P17 .22LR Handgun – $204 (was $240)
- PSA 16″ 5.56 Rifle – $500 (was $570)
- FN 509 LS 9mm Handgun – $700 (was $1,554)
Ammo is also at some low prices (see more at our Ammo Price Tracker).
Accessories are there too:

- Sig Sauer Buckmaster Scope – $100 (was $130)
- Holosun 407 Reflex Shake Awake Sight – $150 (was $300) – RMR footprint.
Wilderness Survival Gear
Even if you don’t consider yourself a ‘survivalist’, survival gear helps address the basic principles of practical survival, usually related to the survival rule of threes.
Whether it’s a bivy bag providing shelter, a water filter to stay hydrated, food rations for calories, or a backpack to hold it all, wilderness survival gear targeting basic survival tenets can be foundational for your preparedness.
- Emergency Mylar Blanket 9-Pack – $6 (was $10)
- LcFun Arc Lighter – $9 (was $12)
- Bushcraft 101 Paperback – $9 (was $17) – The best wilderness survival guide to teach the basics.

CBRN Gear
With Hantavirus in the news and wildfire season already showing up, CBRN gear isn’t being left out of Memorial Day sales.
The big one, of course, is the Mira Safety Memorial Day Sale– which is running:
